On Friday night live boxing will finally return to The Doubletree Hotel in Sacramento. In the main event, local prospect David Melgoza (6-0) steps it up by taking on Elias Diaz (10-0) in a battle of the “undefeated”. “This is going to be an exciting fight, and I believe we are more than ready. A lot of hard work was put into this camp. Now it's time to go out there and make all the hard work pay off”, Melgoza told TheBoxingBar on Wednesday afternoon. Local fans have missed the popular boxing shows at The Doubletree since its last show in February of last year. “I'm excited to finally step back in the ring and perform in front of my hometown crowd”, continued the undefeated rising star.

In the co-feature, Sacramento’s William Villa (4-0) takes on Jorge Soto Aguilar (1-0) of Mexico. “I feel as ready as I can be for this fight. I had a great camp with one of the best coaches in Sacramento, Brandon Gonzales. The fans can always expect an entertaining fight with great boxing skills displayed when I come to fight”, said a very confident Villa earlier this week.
