This Saturday night boxing will return to the historic Forum in Inglewood, CA! In a double-header feature, action fighter Lucas "La Maquina" Mattheysse (38-4, 35 KO's) faces Thailand's tough Tewa Kiram (38-0, 28 KO's). In the co-feature Jorge "El Nino De Oro" Linares (43-3, 27 KO's) battles Filipino warrior Mercito "No Mercy" Gesta (31-1-2, 17 KO's). This event is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and the featured fights will be televised on HBO starting at 7:30pm PT. Tickets and good seats are still available, so don't miss the action!

*** Here are a couple of quick Q & A's I did with both Mercito "No Mercy" Gesta who will be in the co-feature against Jorge Linares. And also, undefeated Ferdinand "Lucky Boy" Kerobyan (7-0, 4 KO's) who takes on Lucius "Bulldog" Johnson of Compton, CA on Saturday night.

Ferdinand "Lucky Boy" Kerobyan : How excited are you for this weekend's Golden Boy card which you will be on in Inglewood's historic Forum against Lucius Johnson?
Ferdinand Kerobyan : I am very excited and can’t wait to put on a show for my fans.

TBB : How prepared are you for this fight?
FK : I'm feeling great, both mentally and physically ready for battle.

TBB : In training, what motivates you to do that extra push up or run that extra lap?
FK : My family and all the people that support me and count on me. They give me the energy to keep moving forward and push myself.

TBB : Do you feel a little more pressure being an undefeated fighter that is trying to come out that night with his “0”?
FK : There’s no pressure. I’m just going to go out there and do what I know best, and the rest will fall in its place.

TBB : On Saturday night, what can we expect to see of you?
FK : You can expect another great show from my part, and an exciting fight that will provide a lot of fireworks!

Mercito "No Mercy" Gesta : How did training go for this upcoming fight?
Mercito Gesta : Training went extremely well, as always. I had a very supportive team. We flow real well together. Freddie Roach, Marvin Somodio, Justin Fortune, and my Dad were all in sync in preparation for my training. I feel good and real blessed that everything fell into place so I can have a good camp.

TBB :  Jorge Linares is an excellent all around fighter fighter as you are. What advantages (mentally & physically) do you think you have over Linares, in your opinion?
MG : Well, I respect Linares. I know he's a good fighter. However, mentally I'm checked in. Physically I am at my best that I've ever been. I'm more prepared and ready than ever. I believe I'm stronger and I have what it takes to be a World Champion. We'll take it to the ring.

TBB : You guys will be fighting in the Los Angeles area where there will be crazy Hispanic and Filipino boxing fans. Will the "nerve" factor be an advantage or disadvantage for you?
MG : I think the excitement behind it all, and knowing my fans from all over supporting me, definitely adds to my motivation. I have been doing this for a very long time professionally. At this point in my career, I know how to appreciate and express gratitude to my fans while they're there. And I also know how to get down to business. I have a job to do, and I love it. My focus is in that ring, and so excited for it!

TBB : Both of your styles mixed together should bring a good fight for the fans watching. What are you expecting to happen in that ring against this tough fighter?
MG : I think it will be an exciting fight. I am a tough fighter as well. I am excited, it's time.

TBB : What can us the boxing expect to see of your performance this Saturday night?
MG : Expect to see a good fight. Expect the unexpected and be ready, because "No Mercy" is back!
